The newest train station in WA is now open for use! The $72 million train station at Aubin Grove is expected to be used 3900 times a day.
The station features 2000 parking bays, bike facilities, six bus feeder services for locals and a kiosk.
Did you know its opening has created 17 full-time equivalent jobs, while about 100 jobs were created during construction?
The station, between the Cockburn Central and Kwinana stations on the Mandurah line, was opened on Sunday 23rd April by Premier Mark McGowan.
"This will help take cars off the road, it'll make the Kwinana Freeway less congested," Mr McGowan told reporters.
"Get on the train, enjoy the experience, save money, get to the heart of the city, get close to home, it's the right way to go."
